CREATIVE OPERATIONS MANAGER

Position: Creative Operations Manager
Department: Creative
Location: London-based - go into the London office twice a week at least 

JOB SUMMARY

The Creative Operations Manager is a detail-oriented and strategic professional responsible for optimising the efficiency, workflow, and collaboration within the creative team. By implementing streamlined processes, managing resources, and facilitating communication, the Creative Operations Manager ensures the seamless execution of creative projects from concept to delivery. This role requires a unique blend of organisational skills, creative insight, and project management expertise to drive the creative team's success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Improvement:
-  Evaluate current creative processes and workflows, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for optimisation.
-  Develop and implement efficient project management methodologies, tools, and systems to enhance team productivity and project delivery.

Resource Management:
-  Allocate creative resources (designers, copywriters, freelancers, etc.) effectively to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
-  Collaborate with HR and team leads to identify skill gaps and implement strategies for talent development and growth.

Project Coordination:
-  Act as the central point of contact for project initiation, tracking, and execution, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
-  Create and manage project schedules, milestones, and deadlines to ensure on-time delivery.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
-  Foster collaboration and communication between the creative team and other departments, such as marketing, product development, and sales.
-  Facilitate meetings, brainstorming sessions, and feedback loops to ensure all teams are aligned on project goals and requirements.

Performance Metrics:
-  Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of creative processes.
-  Regularly analyse and report on KPIs to identify areas for improvement and track the team's progress.

Budget Management:
-  Collaborate with finance and project managers to develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and projects are delivered within budget.

Tools and Technology:
-  Research, implement, and manage creative project management tools and technologies that enhance collaboration, workflow, and communication within the team.

Quality Control:
-  Establish and enforce quality control processes to ensure that all creative deliverables meet brand standards and objectives.

Team Development:
-  Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on project management best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

-  Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field (Preference, not a necessity)
-  Proven experience of 3+ years in project management, operations, or a related role within a creative or marketing environment.
-  Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
-  Proficiency in project management software and tools.
-  Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
-  Ability to balance creative thinking with practical operational execution.
-  Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a cross-functional team.
-  Familiarity with creative software and design principles is a plus.
-  Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.
-  Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage unexpected challenges.
