FULL TIME - ECOMMERCE ADMINISTRATOR

Short term- working remotely from home, long term Worcester & home based.

We are looking for an organised and sociable individual to join the small team to help with the administration of our websites. The ideal candidate should have a high level of attention to detail, able to spot and rectify mistakes, fill out missing information where necessary and use their logic skills to troubleshoot simple website presentation issues. They should be hard working and passionate about e-commerce and able to work as a part of team and show strong initiate in problem solving. Ideal candidate will need:

The role will include but not limited to.

  • Filling out product specifications and assigning the relevant subcategories
  • Online Visual Merchandising
  • Managing digital content on all online channels, ensuring everything is uploaded and merchandised on time.
  • Content creation for product listings. Writing unique product descriptions and other product specifications and upload to multiple online marketplaces.
  • Optimising product information
  • Building Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok Ads across all regions.
  • Responding and managing DM’s on social platforms.
  • Facebook Ad builds and monitoring across

 

Skills Required

  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Ability to self-manage and meet targets.
  • Competent in Microsoft office, including excel and word.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of SEO
  • Strong interest in fashion
  • E commerce experience preferably Shopify back office knowledge.
  • Copywriting to be handled with a high level of competency in English grammar and punctuation.

MIDWEIGHT GRAPHIC DESIGNER

MANCHESTER, UK BASED / FULL TIME POSITION

 

Job Summary 

We are looking for a creative, organised individual to join our graphics team. You will be responsible for creating artwork and uploads for multiple Motel platforms including web banners, the Motel app, transactional emails, landing pages + general UX requests.

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Be able to interpret and implement the creative vision across a broad range of projects ranging from digital, social, print, and motion
  • Create suites of assets for our global email campaigns, Motel APP, website / mobile banners + promotional landing pages
  • Explore how our established brand identity + graphics can be applied and adapted to a range of territories (UK, EURO, USA + AUS)
  • Be responsible for supplying final approved artworks internally and to third parties and uploading to Motel platforms

     

    Skills Required

    • Understanding of UI and UX
    • Familiar with Shopify back office
    • Exceptional layout & typography composition skills
    • Great in creative cloud i.e. Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and illustrator

      WOMENSWEAR DESIGNER

      LONDON, UK BASED / FULL TIME POSITION

       

      An awesome opportunity to join the MotelRocks Design team in London! Working as part of a dynamic and passionate team, creating multi-product womenswear with signature Motel brand individuality.

      We seek a trend-led Womenswear Designer to join the team in our Central London office. Minimum of 5 years experience required. This is a very trend-led, role and the candidate must have a young, fashion forward handwriting and able to work in a fast paced environment.

       

      Role & Responsibilities

      • Multi-product design across all clothing and Swimwear
      • Trend obsessed and a pro-researcher, drawing inspo form Runway to thrift. Able to spot emerging trends early.
      • Strong and clear presentation skills - confident and articulate in presenting research and design to Senior managers.
      • Research and present fresh, new print directions. Briefing print designers and working closely with print team to achieve design vision.
      • Ensure key seasonal trend themes across shape, colour and print are translated with MOTEL brand handwriting.
      • Fabric sourcing Internationally, ensuring price needs are met and following-up on additional sourcing requests with the mills and factories.
      • Creation of clear Design handovers for Factories
      • Working with Motel in house Sample Development team to ensure design vision is carried across.
      • Reporting to the Head of Design; working to design briefs set and ensuring deadlines are met.

       

      Skills Required

      • Minimum 5 years experience
      • Fashion Degree or equivalent
      • Excellent understanding of Motel and who the Motel girl is.
      • Highly organised and motivated
      • Trend led portfolio with a clear commercial eye
      • Fashion thirsty and always ahead of trends
      • Great presentation skills; Confident in presenting ideas and research
      • Photoshop and Illustrator skills
      • Excellent understanding of Fabrics, trims and garment construction
      • Ability to work quickly, juggle multiple projects and follow briefs.
      • A team player and passionate about the brands vision.

      We seek a trend-led Junior Womenswear Designer to join the team in our Central London office. Minimum of 2 years experience required. This is a very trend-led, role and the candidate must have a young, fashion forward handwriting and able to work in a fast paced environment.

       

      Role & Responsibilities

      • Multi-product design across all clothing and Swimwear
      • Supporting Senior Design on trend and shape research for set briefs, with clear Motel brand DNA at the forefront.
      • Carrying out regular inspiration trips and comp shops and reporting back.
      • Strong and clear presentation skills - confident and articulate in presenting research to design team.
      • Managing fabric library
      • Assisting on Fabric sourcing trips Internationally, ensuring price needs are met and following-up on additional sourcing requests with development teams and factories.
      • Creation of clear Design handovers for Sample development
      • Participating in sample development comments and feedback - ensuring design vision is carried through.
      • Logging new samples by categories for internal assortment tracking systems
      • Participating on print meetings and compiling clear feedback notes and directions for print designers.
      • Updating and tracking development of any prints, and fabric requests.
      • Supporting and assisting the Design team in all areas.

       

      Skills Required

      • Minimum 2 years experience
      • Fashion Degree or equivalent
